Provide confidential phone support to callers in
distress through supportive listening.
Sexual Assult Crisis Line
Provide support of crisis intervention to victims of
Sexual assault - at hospital or by phone.
Domestic Violence Crisis Line
Provide phone support and crisis intervention to
victims of domestic violence.
TEENline -
for teen volunteers only!
Peer phone support to teen callers in crisis
through supportive listening.
Reassurance
Make scheduled calls to older adults in need of
reassurance and support.
HeartLine
Training: depends on assignment
Minimum Time Committment: 1 year.
Safety Checks
Contact victims of domestic violence whose
partner is in the Time-Out Abusers' Treatment
Program. Assess for safety, changes in behavior,
or needs of victim.
Court Advocacy
Provide support, information, and referrals to
women in court who are victims of Domestic
Violence.
Caring First
Make visits to older adults in need of reassurance
and support to check on well being and give some
relief to caregivers.
Administrative Volunteer
Help coordinate volunteer porjects including
scheduling, time records, client case
management, updates, etc.
